Minor Hotels has expanded its Australasian portfolio with the addition of the Queen’s Wharf Residences in Brisbane. From early 2025, the company will take over the management letting rights for the residential development.
Queen’s Wharf Residences is a 64-storey development, the tallest in the Queen’s Wharf Brisbane precinct, and is expected to transform the city into a major tourism, leisure and entertainment destination. The development features one, two, and three-bedroom apartments with balconies and innovative winter gardens equipped with lift-and-tilt windows. The tower’s design mirrors the curves of the river, and its slender form draws the eye upwards.
Residents will have exclusive access to luxury amenities such as a pool, spa, steam room, theatre, leisure lounge room, and gym. They will also have direct access to the precinct’s entertainment options, hotels, and dining venues, including Sokyo, Fat Noodle, and Cherry. The Sky Deck offers breathtaking views and a state-of-the-art Event Centre in the river city.
Lauren Sheldon, Head of Sales and Marketing Australia for property developer Far East Consortium, noted that the Queen’s Wharf Residences had become Queensland’s fastest-selling development. She believes that Minor Hotels, with its extensive experience in property management, is the ideal partner to manage the development.
Craig Hooley, Chief Operating Officer for Minor Hotels Australasia, expressed his excitement about the addition of the Brisbane landmark to their portfolio. He mentioned that the company’s extensive experience managing over 550 properties globally equips it to manage this development, which further cements Brisbane’s position as a global destination for entertainment, leisure and tourism.
