Mandalay Bay’s Suite Tower Transforms into W Las Vegas Under MGM-Marriott Collaboration

MGM Resorts International and Marriott International, Inc. have introduced W Las Vegas. This move marks the transition of Mandalay Bay’s iconic 1,117-suite tower into the globally recognized W Hotels brand. Starting today, members of the Marriott Bonvoy loyalty program can book stays and earn and redeem points at this destination, which is now part of the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy.

This development is part of MGM Resorts’ long-term strategic licensing agreement with Marriott International, first revealed in 2023. The collaboration merges two hospitality leaders, allowing Marriott Bonvoy and MGM Rewards members to access both companies’ resort collections and rewards.

Since its launch in March 2024, the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy has welcomed hundreds of thousands of new Marriott Bonvoy guests to all MGM Resorts properties. This collaboration offers more than 200 million Marriott Bonvoy members exclusive benefits, and the ability to redeem points at MGM Resorts destinations across the U.S. Additionally, MGM Rewards members can match their status and enjoy member benefits across Marriott’s approximately 9,000 properties worldwide.

With the addition of W Las Vegas, the MGM Collection with Marriott Bonvoy now includes 12 destinations on the Las Vegas Strip, such as Bellagio, ARIA Resort & Casino, The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, and Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino. MGM Rewards members and guests can now make reservations at W Las Vegas via the MGM Resorts website and app, while Marriott Bonvoy members can book stays via the Marriott website and app. More information about additional enhancements planned for W Las Vegas will be announced at a later date.
