Laura Moreno Salinas has been appointed as Senior Director People at Meininger Hotels, effective from October 1, 2024. Bringing over 15 years of international experience in human resources (HR) leadership roles, Salinas is expected to enhance Meininger’s talent acquisition and employee development strategies.
Prior to her appointment, Salinas worked with global technology companies in Berlin, where she implemented strategies to streamline HR processes. She began her career in the hospitality sector and has held significant HR roles in prominent hotels, including Azimut Hotels and Hilton Hotels in London.
Meininger Hotels’ CEO, Ajit Menon, has expressed confidence that Salinas’ experience in business scaling, international team management, and employee engagement will be invaluable to the company’s people strategy.
As part of its growth strategy, Meininger Hotels is planning to increase its employee base from 1,270 to 1,330 by 2025. The company is investing in employer branding, employee development programs, and a new e-learning platform to attract and retain top talent. Employees will also be encouraged to contribute to areas like sustainability and diversity, further strengthening the company’s culture.
