India’s May wholesale prices rise 2.61% on year By Reuters


NEW DELHI (Reuters) – India’s wholesale prices rose 2.61% in May from a year earlier, government data showed on Friday.

Economists polled by Reuters had estimated the WPI inflation would rise 2.5% in May, compared to 1.26% in April.
