Essity has appointed Ulrika Kolsrud as its new president and CEO, effective June 1, 2025, succeeding Magnus Groth.
Currently president of Essity’s Health & Medical unit, she has been with the company’s Executive Management Team since 2015.
Kolsrud brings broad industry experience and will focus on driving growth, profitability, and innovation.
She will be based in Stockholm.

Ulrika Kolsrud is 54 years old and holds a Master of Science in Engineering from Chalmers University of Technology. She will be based at Essity’s head office in Stockholm.
