Summer Walker said both of her birthing experiences were life-threatening, and that her first birth lasted over two days.
In an interview with Mariah The Scientist for Summer Walker’s Over It Radio show on Apple Music 1, the latter spoke a bit about what it was like giving birth, and said both times were incredibly difficult.
“The second one, it sucked bad. Real bad,” Summer said. “But, believe it or not, the second birth was shorter than the first one.” She added that giving birth to her twins the second time around was “seven hours,” whereas the birth of her first child was over 52 hours long.
“That s—t was bad. All of it’s bad,” Walker added, saying she “almost died both times.”
Summer had her first baby, Bubbles Renee Walker, with producer London on Da Track back in 2021, then gave birth to twin boys with LVRD Pharoh in 2022. People reported that she had all of her children at home.
Most recently, Summer acknowledged she was dating Chicago drill rapper Rico Recklezz, and in March clapped back at critics of her relationships.
“You know what? Ya’ll can say whatever ya’ll wanna say about my man, but let me tell you one thing,” she wrote in a since-deleted post on Instagram. “When I ask this man to do something for me, he gon’ do it the best, the biggest way he motherf—king can. He don’t never go small.”
