Hotel Oriental Express has announced opening a new location in Kagoshima’s Tenmonkan district. The hotel is a short five-minute drive from Kagoshima Chuo Station and 55 minutes by bus from Kagoshima Airport. Its strategic location is ideal for business travelers and tourists.
The 13-story hotel building offers 165 guest rooms, each with various amenities designed for extended stays. The hotel also features a spacious public bath infused with artificial carbonated spring water, a fitness room, and on-site laundry facilities.
The hotel’s reception area, accentuated by a green wall, creates a serene atmosphere for guests. It also serves freshly brewed coffee and a variety of teas 24 hours a day.
On the hotel’s top floor, guests can enjoy panoramic views of Sakurajima and Kinko Bay from BLUE KITCHEN and SOLID BAR. BLUE KITCHEN offers a breakfast buffet with 40 different dishes. The menu includes traditional breakfast items and local Kagoshima favorites, such as Chicken Rice, Deep-Fried Sweet Potato, and Sakurajima Chicken. It also includes inventive options like Chicken Rice Pho-Style, Build-Your-Own Pancakes, and Croffle Benedict.
SOLID BAR provides a warm and inviting setting, focusing on natural wood accents. During the “Blue Hour,” guests can watch the sky and sea blend into twilight hues. The bar’s menu features a variety of beverages, including local shochu, seasonal fruit cocktails, mocktails, and premium whiskeys.
