Inflation in Netherlands rises to 4% in November

Cost of consumer goods and services in the Netherlands increased by 4 per cent in November 2024 compared to the previous year, Statistics Netherlands (CBS) reported. This marks a rise from October’s inflation rate of 3.5 per cent.

Inflation in the Netherlands rose to 4 per cent in November 2024, up from 3.5 per cent in October, according to Statistics Netherlands.
HICP showed inflation at 3.8 per cent in November, up from 3.3 per cent in October.
Inflation in the Netherlands remains higher than the euro area, where it increased to 2.3 per cent in November from 2 per cent in October.

According to the harmonised index of consumer prices (HICP), inflation stood at 3.8 per cent in November, up from 3.3 per cent in October.

While inflation in the Netherlands has risen, it remains higher than the overall inflation rate for the euro area. The euro area saw inflation increase to 2.3 per cent in November from 2 per cent in October.
