MCR, America’s third-largest hotel owner-operator, has recently purchased the Hyatt Regency O’Hare Chicago, marking its first Hyatt Regency-branded hotel acquisition. This acquisition is also MCR’s fifth hotel in Illinois. The 11-story hotel, located in the suburb of Rosemont, has 1,095 rooms renovated in 2020 at $13 million.

The Hyatt Regency O’Hare Chicago is close to Chicago O’Hare International Airport, one of the busiest airports in the United States, handling over 74 million passengers annually. The hotel’s strategic location is just a five-minute drive from the airport, making it exceptionally convenient for travelers.

Adding to its convenience, the hotel is directly connected to the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center via a skywalk. This expansive venue, which offers more than 840,000 square feet of exhibition space, hosts various events throughout the year, including the International Gem & Jewelry Show and the Illinois Bridal & Wedding Expo.

Apart from being a hub for travelers, the area boasts over 18 million square feet of office space, housing the headquarters of several significant corporations such as US Foods, Wintrust, Reyes Holdings, and the Big Ten Conference. These corporations are all located within a short distance from the hotel.

The hotel is also close to several premier shopping and leisure destinations. The Fashion Outlets of Chicago, which hosts over 130 retailers like Gucci and Nordstrom Rack, is less than a mile away. Other nearby attractions include the Rivers Casino Des Plaines, the Rosemont Theatre, and the Allstate Arena.

The Hyatt Regency O’Hare Chicago offers three dining options: the Red Bar & Lounge, O’H American Grill, and Perks To-Go. It also features a 24-hour fitness center for guests who wish to keep up with their fitness routines.

The hotel is a desirable location for corporate travelers. It provides 110,000 square feet of meeting space, including the sizeable Grand Ballroom and Ventanas, a top-floor venue with a splendid view of the Chicago skyline.
