The Dart Group recently acquired the Zemi Beach House resort in Anguilla from the New York-based Goldstein family. Established in 2016, the resort is located on the north coast of Anguilla and is recognized for its 77 rooms and extensive amenities.
Dart’s CEO, Mark VanDevelde, expressed his enthusiasm for the acquisition, noting the similarities between Anguilla and the Cayman Islands, where Dart first invested in the 1990s. The group plans to enhance the resort’s services and contribute to the prosperity of the Anguillan community.
Dart’s hospitality portfolio includes luxury resorts such as the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Anguilla, The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, and Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa in Grand Cayman.
Jackie Doak, a director at Dart, noted that the acquisition of Zemi Beach House will provide valuable resources and insights to enhance guest experiences and immerse them in Anguilla’s culture and natural beauty.
The Anguillan government has welcomed Dart’s investment. Premier Ellis Webster applauded Dart’s commitment to the island, which is reflected in its infrastructure upgrades and community development initiatives. Following Dart’s acquisition of the Four Seasons Resort in 2022, the group supported constructing the Landsome Bowl Cultural Centre, a community space for Anguillans. Dart is now exploring further investment opportunities in community development and resilience.
The Minister of Tourism, Haydn Hughes, also expressed his approval of Dart’s contribution to Anguilla’s tourism industry, pointing out the company’s efforts to create exceptional spaces for visitors and development opportunities for local tourism professionals.
