Denmark stocks lower at close of trade; OMX Copenhagen 20 down 2.76% By Investing.com

Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Wednesday, as losses in the , and sectors led shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the lost 2.76%.

The best performers of the session on the were Demant A/S (CSE:), which rose 1.37% or 3.90 points to trade at 289.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Tryg A/S (CSE:) added 0.19% or 0.30 points to end at 159.10 and Orsted A/S (CSE:) was up 0.13% or 0.80 points to 599.00 in late trade.

The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:), which fell 3.76% or 43.40 points to trade at 1,111.20 at the close. Bavarian Nordic (CSE:) declined 3.74% or 7.05 points to end at 181.50 and Novozymes A/S B (CSE:) was down 3.53% or 13.00 points to 355.20.

Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 98 to 47 and 18 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.03% or 0.02 to $77.05 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.19% or 0.15 to hit $80.45 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.09% or 1.80 to trade at $2,006.30 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.69% to 6.74, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.04% to 7.45.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.52% at 101.06.
